Uses of Pure Lead

Pure Lead, Lead Metal exporter, Lead Sheets Supplier, Lead ManufacturerThere are many different uses of Lead. It may be used as a pure metal, alloyed with other metals, or as chemical compounds.

Key Features of Lead:

*Lead a naturally occurring metal.
* Lead is still used widely in commercial products.
* Lead is very stable and accumulates in the environment.
* Most lead encountered in the environment today is inorganic.
* The body absorbs organic lead (as was used in leaded gasoline and is used in occupational settings) faster than inorganic lead.

Lead is mostly used in Batteries, building construction for roofing and cladding, Rolled Extrusions, X-Ray Shielding and making Lead Wool, Lead Wire, Lead Pipes, Lead ingots, Lead Sheets, Lead Bullets, Paints Pigments, Pure Lead, Cable Sheathing, bearings, solder, antifriction metals, and type metal.

Shot Lead is an Alloy of Lead, Antimony, and Arsenic. Lead Foil is made with Lead alloys. Lead is added to brass to reduce machine tool wear.

High Time..Lets Recycle Batteries! Lead is booming

Greetings!
I hope and believe that the business must be coming in to shape everywhere after this Economic downfall last year. In my view business can not be affected that much with the problems as we can forecast its execution for later stage. Lead Market too has come up and its a right time to rethink in this promising business of Lead Recycling.. Lets Join hands for Ecofriendly Lead Recycling..Anurag

Recycle old batteries in Plants

Earth Day is April 22, but Gravita Exim will celebrate it for the whole month with its annual "Great Battery Roundup".

During April, Gravita Exim will accept scrap batteries and lead batteries at no cost; these used automotive or marine lead-acid batteries will be sent its plants where they can be recycled into new batteries and save the environment.

There are more than 9 Battery Recycling Plants of Gravita Exim all over the world that meet the criteria for Lead battery recycling.

Lead acid batteries are made up of plates, Lead, and Lead oxide with a 35% sulfuric acid and 65% water electrolyte solution. Lead acid batteries represent almost 60% of all batteries sold worldwide.

Car batteries contain about 18 pounds of lead and a pound of sulfuric acid, so they can be extremely hazardous and cause environmental contamination.

Battery Recycling Plant requires that the batteries be sorted according to chemistries. Some sorting must be done prior to the battery arriving at the recycling Plant. Nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal-hydride, lithium-ion and Lead acid are placed in designated boxes at the collection point.
